SupportHER’s Essence of Elegance Cocktail Affair Launches a Mission-Driven Movement in Georgia
SupportHER is stepping into its season of purpose with Essence of Elegance: A Cocktail Affair—the official launch event of its long-anticipated mentorship and membership program. Scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM in Austell, Georgia, this premier evening experience is rooted in intention, connection, and celebration. The dress code is classic cocktail, but the energy promises to be anything but predictable.
Created for women across all walks of life—from seasoned professionals to those just beginning their journey—Essence of Elegance invites attendees into an elevated space of opportunity and community-building. Whether they come from corporate boardrooms, nonprofit organizations, creative industries, or entrepreneurial circles, every guest will find something designed to pour into them.
The event features a rich array of activations, beginning with a black carpet welcome where guests will make a red-carpet-worthy entrance against a bold visual backdrop. Inside, attendees can expect a curated lineup of networking, vendors, visual storytelling, and inspiring conversations. Notable special guests include professionals from film and television, public relations, journalism, and hospitality, all coming together to create a rare intersection of industries. Among those set to make an appearance is Representative Kimberly Alexander (District 66)—the first African-American woman elected to represent her district while residing in her county—adding a layer of civic pride to the celebration.
The vibe will be guided by a live DJ and music performance, complemented by signature cocktails crafted by Mixx Bartenders Cocktail & Crafting Co., alongside immersive event activations that encourage meaningful conversation and connection. From curated vendor experiences to one-on-one moments with changemakers, the evening is designed to spark more than just conversation—it’s designed to spark alignment.
At the heart of this effort is Keanna Jones, the visionary behind SupportHER. A creative strategist, logistics coordinator, and film production manager, Jones has built a career that bridges business and artistry. As Chief of Staff at the Black Hollywood Social Club and a new member of Women in Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA), her reputation is rooted in collaboration, execution, and a commitment to empowering others. Her past work with names like Latto, T.I., YFN Lucci, and networks such as NBC and Peacock has shaped her understanding of the power of authentic relationships—and the gaps women often face when trying to build them.
Her journey through higher education included stops at Georgia Highlands College, where she was awarded the Distinguished Leadership Award, the Steve Burns Award, and the Diversity Team Award. She later attended Kennesaw State University, serving as Vice President of Ladies of Distinction and Secretary of PRSSA. The leadership roles, the accolades, and the experiences all point to a consistent theme: building support systems where none existed before.
That’s what SupportHER aims to be—a nonprofit dedicated to helping women navigate transitions, develop professionally, and access mentorship and resources that make a real impact. The Essence of Elegance affair is not just a launch—it’s a declaration of a new standard for women-centered spaces.
With this celebration, Jones and the SupportHER team are bringing a vision to life that goes far beyond a single night. They are creating a movement where elegance meets empowerment, and where community isn’t a trend—it’s the foundation.
