Let’s Get to the Money: Marketing For The Culture Summit 2025 Returns to Houston with a Bold Focus on Economic Empowerment
The African American Marketing Association (AAMA) is bringing the heat to Houston this summer with the return of its highly anticipated Marketing For The Culture Summit (MFTCS). Now in its fourth year, the summit lands on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the United Way of Greater Houston, with an energy that’s laser-focused on what matters most—getting to the money.
Under the theme Let’s Get to the Money: Make it a Summer of Stacks, this year’s MFTCS promises to be more than a professional gathering—it’s a movement. Designed for marketers, creative entrepreneurs, and small business owners, the summit is centered on equipping attendees with real, actionable strategies to advance their careers, protect their work, and generate income that’s sustainable and scalable.
According to Michelle Ngome, Founder of AAMA, “This year’s theme reinforces our commitment to economic empowerment and contributing to the success of the AAMA community.”
The summit will feature five impactful panel discussions, each tailored to the realities of today’s marketing and creative professionals:
• Consumer, Creative, Capital: Navigating Pathways to Economic Equity
• The Insider’s Guide to Negotiating Your Compensation Package
• The Future of the Creator Economy: Trends, Challenges, & Opportunities
• Intellectual Property & Licensing: Protecting & Monetizing Your Creative Work
• Beyond The Hustle: Sustainable Business Models for Marketers & Creatives
Before the main event, attendees are invited to a special Networking Mixer on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at MOCA HTX, offering a chance to connect, collaborate, and warm up for the summit’s big day.
